A simple exercise:
Start
with getting comfortable in your chair.
Think a funny thought, a happy thought and begin to relax.
Breathe through your nose and hold it a moment. Exhale
through your nose. Again. Take a deep breath in through your
nose, hold it a moment. Exhale through your nose.
Relax
the muscles of the body. Allow the body to function
normally, naturally, as you relax your feet, your legs. Let
the hand on the mouse, the keyboard, relax easily. Breathe
through the nose. Hold it. Exhale through the nose. Relax
all the muscles below the waist. Search out any tense
sensations and let them go. Any sensations in the body,
allow them to exist and ignore them, move on as you breathe
through your nose. Notice any noise in the area, any
distractions, annoyances, and free them from your
consciousness. Breathe through your nose. Hold it a moment.
Exhale.
Continue relaxing the body. Relax the muscles
of the abdomen and lower back. The solar plexus and middle
back. The chest and upper back. Breathe. Relax the muscles
of the shoulders, the arms and hands, the fingers. Notice
any tenseness, any sensations and leave them, relax. Feel
the muscles of the neck, relax them. The jaw, the mouth,
your cheek muscles. Breathe in. Hold it a moment. Exhale.
Relax the muscles around your eyes, your forehead, the
scalp. Take a deep breath and hold it a moment. Exhale. Feel
relaxed, comfortable.
Recall
a time when you are happy, a moment when you feel
wonderfully alive and good.
Read these thoughts… ‘I forgive myself and
I forgive others’. ‘I am grateful for all that I
have.’ ‘I can love myself. ’ Breathe in. Hold it a
moment. Exhale through your nose. ‘ I allow myself to be
healthy’. ‘I allow myself to be miraculously abundant in
wealth.’ ‘I allow myself to be miraculously
successful.’ ‘I allow myself to be miraculously
motivated to be Healthy, Wealthy, Successful.’
Be
energized, alive and aware. Enthusiastic, happy, grateful.
Be supportive, patient, full of humor and delight. Be well.
Read these thoughts. ‘I notice I am becoming healthier.’
‘I notice I am becoming wealthier.’ I notice I am
becoming more and more successful.’
Breathe in through your nose. Hold it a moment. Exhale
through your nose. For a few seconds, close your eyes and
introduce images of material possessions you desire.
Visualize new clothes, cars, houses. Open your eyes.
Do
this simple exercise every day for a week and take notice of
what occurs. Adapt it to your lifestyle, make it personally
yours. While relaxed, think happy thoughts. Thoughts
of good Health, great Wealth, tremendous Success and strong
Motivation. Dream of the material possessions you seek and
yearn for, the freedom to accomplish what makes you happy.
