The workings of the mind is viewed as a
complicated study. Way to complex to go into here.
Simply stated, it has been proven that ours minds can be
programmed. We learn by repetition, through tedious study, by
practicing as in music or sports. Why not apply basic concepts
to improve our attitude.
Think
positive! The Power of Positive Thinking. You’ve
heard it or read about it before. Now add communication and
your on your way to achieving and receiving what you need.
‘Ask and you shall receive.’
Motivation is
defined as a need or desire that causes a person to act.
Rooted in Latin, 'motus' means motion, movement. It
is something you do. Motivation moves you to behave in a
particular way. And what we do here is move the mind to act,
accomplish that which we program it to do. Motivation must be
strong and focused so that you can attain that which you seek.
Knowing that you want something will not be enough. You must
have strong motivation, a
drive, to get it.
Communicating
your needs with yourself will result in the creation of the
need. What is required is learning the proper
method that works best for you. Some pray, others
set realistic goals and go about acting on them. When the
results are disappointing, we get frustrated and sometimes
angry. We give up. Change that.
When we want
something, we may not be clear as to what it is we actually
want and so nothing happens. Get
specific. If you think about the positive things in
your life and how you got them, you will see that by simply
repeating the process, you can get more. We have a tendency to
stay in the negative at times and when we do, negative things
happen. Change that. Henry Ford’s famous quote; ‘Whether
you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.’
So the
‘How’ is to change what it is you do that results in
negative experience and repeat what you do that results in a
positive experience. Begin knowing what it is you desire. Write
it down! Relaxing yourself in a quiet place, start
to get rid of the stress, the daily tensions which flood our
mind and body. Once relaxed, think
positive, happy thoughts and allow receptivity to
theses good thoughts. By releasing the negative thoughts, we
can introduce what it is we seek in a positive way. If we
think it won’t work, it won’t. Help yourself by thinking
‘I allow myself to be healthier’, ‘I allow myself to be
abundantly wealthy’, ‘I allow myself to be successful’.
Change the words to suit your specific aims. Seek out
professional assistance if a deep understanding of the process
is important to you. Look into courses on specific subjects
such as obtaining wealth or losing weight or improving
relationships. Many people do not look into getting this
professional help because of money. They are not motivated
enough in their commitment and so money stands in the way of
having their dreams. If you are highly motivated, you will
find the professionals with good track records of success.
You’ll come across the scams. Investigate each course and
you’ll soon learn who is helping others and who is helping

While in the relaxed
state, talk to yourself through your thoughts. Communicate
with images of what it is you desire. If it’s
weight loss, conjure up images of a ‘thinner’ you. If
it’s wealth, visualize yourself with wealthy possessions
like new expensive perfect fitting clothes, a new car, a new
house. Take the time to know what it is you seek, think about
it in a positive way, ‘I can have it’, and quiet your mind
so it can hear it and see it. Then repeat
it again and again for a week, a month. You will
program your mind to be motivated to getting what it is you
seek. And then watch the results. A motivated
inner mind will create that which it seeks. It is
very powerful. Just look at what you do have already. And what
you don’t have. The mind is also powerful in its ‘not
creating’ form. By thinking about what you want, the mind
stays there and doesn’t move to getting it. It stays in the
‘wanting’ it state or creates the opposite as a negative.
‘I want to be thin’ stays as wanting to be thin or
remaining heavier than desired, rather than being thin. Be
thin, do things thin
people must do to be thin, and have
being thin.
Allow yourself
to accomplish and receive your goals. And be grateful for the
help your inner mind gives you. Repeat the process for each
specific item you seek and take your time. We often rush to
